The house is located in the peaceful Okawachiyama village, known for its pottery, near Imari.
Your accommodation will be a charming 100 year old traditional Japanese house called a kominka, in a small village known for its beautiful ceramics.
We recommend you to get a car rental as well, as the village and the surrounding areas are difficult to access without a car. The car rental fees are not included in this house rental.

The spaceous house has a large living room, equipped with a dining table, some chairs and sofas, a kitchenette that has all the necessary equipment, like a nespresso machine, a microwave, a fridge and freezer, are two bedrooms, one equipped with a double bed and a single bed, and the other room has a single bed. Furthermore there is a bathroom equipped with a bathtub and shower, and a toilet. Outside of the house lies a beautiful garden perfectly fit for a picnic, as well as barbecues.
Please communicate to your house angel about your time of arrival at the house, so you can be assisted during your check in process.
The house angel takes about 40 minutes to get to the house, so make sure to tell him about your arrival time at least 1 hour in advance. If he cannot make it on time, it is possible that he assists you with a video call.
The village has only 200 residents, and you can really appreciate the peace and quiet.
When you need more convenience, the city Imari is only a 11 minute drive.
There are also many activities available, like pottery activities, Japanese traditional sweets making, kimono experience and onsens. And of course you are surrounded by the beautiful nature and sceneries.
Okawachiyama is famous for its ceramics art and pottery.
The village has many decorative displays of ceramics art, almost as if the whole village is an art piece.
