Michelin crowns Tokyo
With 14 references, the Japanese capital has the largest number of 3-star restaurants in the world.
The verdict is in: with 14 establishments classified "3 stars", Tokyo remains the capital of world gastronomy according to the famous gastronomic guide Michelin Guide, whose "Tokyo" and "Kansai" editions appear at the end of 2013 (only in Japanese).
In detail, five sushi restaurants, one for fugu , six for Japanese cuisine and two for contemporary French gastronomy win the prize in this 7th edition of the gourmet guide.
A ranking that leaves Tokyo still ahead of Paris (10 3-star restaurants) and New York (7). And marks the rise of the Kansai region, where Kyoto has seven "3 stars", as much as Osaka -Kobe- Nara .
