This restaurant run by the Japanese offers quality cuisine, faithful to the classics and techniques of Japanese cusine.

Located in the heart of the historic center, not far from Place Camille Jullian, its beautiful wooden room transports you directly to Japan. You can also dine on the terrace , à la bordelaise.

Dishes in bento, donburis, tempuras, sushi, maki, sashimi, or even noodles (ramen, udon, sobas) at the Japanese Café Annex, you can discover a fine range of typical Japanese dishes.

A reference address for all Bordeaux residents looking for street-food-oriented Japanese gastronomy.

Specialist in ramen but also yakisoba and tonkatsu, Fufu allows you to discover Japanese tastes in a typically Japanese setting, where you can eat at the bar in front of the cooks, like most ramen restaurants in Japan.

 

 

Fufu is the perfect place to enjoy shrimp yakisoba, accompanied by a cold Japanese beer. Even if there may be a wait, it's well worth it!

Its red storefront, devoid of a sign, does not suggest what is hidden inside... Starting with sushi, of course, but also tempuras, yakitoris, gyudon, and especially Osaka-style okonomiyaki.

You can also taste different Japanese alcohols such as umeshu, shochu, Japanese whiskey, and enjoy a Kirin beer on tap.

You will find all the necessary kitchen utensils, knives, chopsticks, steam baskets, woks... but also the ingredients. You can get rice, seaweed, soy sauces, but also Japanese sweets, as well as teas and alcohol from Japan.
