Literally "paper paradise", this shop in the Shimogyo district offers a wide selection of traditional papers of all kinds.

Plain, fluffy, smooth, ribbed, patterned, colored, sober, thick, fine... there is something for everyone at Morita Wagami. Paper has been used and designed for centuries in Japan and is essential to the art of calligraphy, painting and writing. Today, many Japanese people come to replenish their stocks of beautiful leaves to wrap presents or to make small gifts.

This stationery also offers notebooks and envelopes in addition to chiyogami (decorated papers). Come and immerse yourself in this paper heaven!
