Nakajima is one of the many antique dealers in the Gion district. He specializes in bronzes from the Edo period (1603-1868) in Meiji, but there are also all kinds of Japanese antiques to be found here: pottery, prints, calligraphy, books, or lacquers. Gentaro Nakajima, the owner of the place, will provide complete assistance to choose your favorite item.
Prices can be negotiated here but advised to have plenty of cash to be able to afford some parts of the store. On the same street, a little further west is Nakajima-san's father's shop, also specializing in antiques.
