The Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza is a huge, sprawling, very modern discount fashion outlet in the beautiful mountain resort town of Karuizawa, only one hour by shinkansen (bullet train) from Tokyo.

Almost every major brand of fashion and clothing design is represented at Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza in over two hundred stores, set in beautiful, sylvan surroundings, just minutes walk from Karuizawa Station.
The stylish, 26-hectare Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza comprises six blocks of stores divided overall into two sections east and west of Karuizawa Station, and has over 200 stores offering internationally famous clothing brands, as well as a restaurant section.
The Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza was established in 1995, and is now by far the biggest factor drawing visitors to Karuizawa, and has therefore contributed greatly to Karuizawa's popularity as more than just a haven for the leisured classes.

A free shuttle bus runs between the New West area (from in front of the Levi's store) to the East area (from in front of the East Convenience Store).

The Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza has paid parking for 3,665 cars. The first two hours are free with purchases of 2,000 yen or more.
