Peanuts Hotel opening in Kobe ピーナッツホテル
"Where guests feel comfortable"
The characters of many franchises have become incredibly popular in Japan. Shops, cafes, restaurants, theme parks... there's something for everyone! Now it's Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang's turn to get their own hotel in Kobe.
The Japanese are very fond of anything with adorable little characters. Just look at the frenzy around Japan's mascots - each city, region, brand and even university has its own. And it doesn't stop there. In addition to Tokyo's two Disney parks, you'll also find a Sanrio theme park, dedicated to the world of Hello Kitty and her friends.
In Japan you can enjoy a coffee at the Moomin cafe, then visit the Doraemon Museum via the Hello Kitty Shinkansen - nobody will be surprised to hear about the opening of Peanuts Hotel in Kobe, where Snoopy and friends will welcome guests from August 1st, 2018. In fact, there is already a Peanuts Cafe in Tokyo and a Peanuts Diner in Yokohama.

"It's nice to have a home where your guests feel comfortable."
With this slogan, the hotel promises an unforgettable experience for its guests, with 18 rooms and a three-star service. Each floor has a different theme: "Imagine", "Happy" and "Love", and each room has a separate comic strip from the world of Charles M. Schultz, who narrated the adventures of Snoopy and his master Charlie Brown every day for 50 years.
Authenticity comes at a price! One night in a Snoopy-themed room will cost you between 30,000 and 40,000 yen ($265 to $355), for rooms between 14 and 25m2 in size, breakfast included.
For those interested, reservations will open on July 20th at 1pm (local time).
The English site is still under construction, but you will find pictures of each room on the Japanese website.
