Asahi Sky Room アサヒスカイルーム
Drink a drink with your head in the air
Near Asakusa, on the banks of the Sumida river, stands a building bearing the name of a famous Japanese beer brewery!
After a walk to the Sensôji temple, cross the Azumabashi bridge and reach the Asahi building, designed by French designer Philippe Starck. Its shape evokes a pint of beer. At the foot of this building, a monumental sculpture out of the imagination of the creator Starck, colloquially called by the locals "golden poo" marks the territory. On the twenty-second floor, the Asahi Sky Room bar provides a panoramic view of the city. On clear days, you can even admire Mount Fuji. After a visit to the Asakusa district, what better way to quench your thirst with a magnificent view!
