Osaka is often seen as an essential destination for those visiting Japan. The most populous city in the Kansai region has a distinct atmosphere derived from not only its attractions and dense streets, but also its fun-loving and open local population. This is also a great city to see much of Japan’s history, with the famous Tower of the Sun, created by Taro Okamoto for the 1985 World’s Fair, on display, and the ancient Mozu Tombs. Also, be sure to try the city’s famous array of signature foods, such as okonomiyaki and takoyaki!

MORE INFORMATION ABOUT OSAKA STATION AND KINOSAKI ONSEN

How to get to Osaka Station

Numerous local JR lines serve the Kita district's Osaka railway station, which serves the Osaka metropolitan area as well as the larger Kansai region. Shin-Osaka station is located one stop away from Osaka station on JR lines. The Hanshin line, the Tanimachi and Midosuji subway lines, and other lines connect Osaka. Major districts like Osaka-Umeda and Namba are easily accessible from the station thanks to these transportation options, and Osaka Station is better connected to other areas of the city because it is a departure or stop point for several bus routes.

Where to go from Kinosaki Onsen Station

The area known as Kinosak Onsen is largely served by the station, also labeled “Kinosaki Onsen Station.” The station is located on the banks of the river that goes out to the sea to the north, and a number of ryokans and onsen bathhouses are within walking distance of the station. A number of trains and buses service the greater area, many of which stop at and depart from the main station.
